Thanks for the great suggestion. I just finished a terrific book, non mystery though,” The Covenant of Water”, 750 pages that I read in two weeks. It is a fantastic read. I hope you are now enjoying the pretty summer weather. We are back on Deer Island now and my three daughters come this week, yeah
I love the library I get a bit carried away and reserve way to many books. Then months later when I get a notification that they are available I sometimes can’t even remember why I reserved it, but the library and the limited time that I have the book has got me back into reading, forcing me or focusing me to a dead line, to finish the book within the 2 or 3 weeks that I have it. Thank you once again for a wonderful newsletter and podcast, I found this podcast very moving maybe it was the honesty of the everyday moments and emotions that I could relate the small everyday things that have so much meaning in o our lives. Enjoy your summer! Would love the chicken recipe xx
Thanks Karen :) One of my everyday moments is also being notified by Libby and forgetting why I reserved it! haha! thanks for you note. chicken recipe coming up!
What a lovely piece of writing, filled with little pockets of secrets.
Firstly thank you for the prompt to seek out Poirot on audio. Huge fan of Christie and Poirot in particular.
Yes please to the Hallo Dollies.
Here in coastal Tasmania, My Mum was known all about as the Pavlova Queen. High, white and crispy dessert on the outside and delicately tulle-like, foamy, white marshmallow on the inside. All this from 4 egg-whites and 8 tablespoons of castor sugar. Nothing else. Perfection.
Have you tried Nigella's coffee pav and her chocolate pav? Both delicious. Super easy.
Love your newsletter and yes, my Libby APP ... I agree the HOLD / wait is a lesson in patience and a sudden gifted surprise ... I love the photos in the newsletter and I WOULD LOVE THE RECIPE for the trEAT mentioned at the end. THANK YOU! LOL ... I go to sleep with your podcast .... problem is ... they relax me, calm me down but I don’t fall asleep... too intent on listening!

English murder mysteries and scrawled recipies! There's always something more to uncover. Love this post!
