Prue, smooth like choccie mousse is the highest of praise! Thank you. And, I too am still laughing at the balloon story. That lived on for years at the television studio!
Who would ever imagine that a collection of thrift store cookbooks would serve as the perfect tool for so many delightful stories? Nice work, Lindsay! And what a great evening with Rex. Hope he finds his sweatpants on the next try!
I read about Marlow and Sons closing yesterday and that led me to thinking about Prune, which I also did not visit, to my great regret. But I did pull out my copy of Blood, Bones and Butter when I was awake in the night last night, and I am now delighting in the thought of (re)reading it in tandem with you!
Lindsay, your story-telling is so smooth - like a well made choccie mousse.
Can I say I laughed at loud at the balloon story?
Best wishes.
