We didn’t have dough balls but I do recall sitting watching the pizza being dished up waiting for the box to be empty when I would peel the cheese stuck on top to nibble on before devouring my pizza.
What a fascinating story about south balls, Lindsay. I don’t remember our take away pizzas ever having them. But I do remember the small plastic “tables”. You reminded me of when my brother and I would go to the local Pizza Hut with our friends accompanied by our dads. Those pizzas were always so huge in our small hands and the soft serve ice cream with ALL the toppings at the end. Gosh, those were the days!
