Lindsay, I'm slowly salting away some of your recipes. Your way of inviting me in as you tell the story is mouthwatering. The Cake That Tastes Like Sunshine has become a family favourite and I suspect the panini will as well. Thank you so much
Prue, My sister brought over a 'sunshine' cake on the weekend that she had made and put in the freezer (because of a cancelled party) and I can report that it freezes so well! Sunshine all over again! And thanks for the note, always! xo

What a beautiful story to read on my Sunday morning in Australia, as I’m sipping coffee in the cool bright morning sunlight .
I am imagining everyone in the store going to fetch what they’re interested in(and I’m thinking that would be me going straight to kitchenware).
But finding out that 10yo Noah bought a panini press with his own money And made sure it works before he left made me wonder if I had an little if any of his witty - bright self as my old 10yo self !! Let alone as my 40+ yo woman now .
Thank you Annie, that's the best note to receive! Noah stories are some of my favourite... I didn't even mention the time he crawled up on the counter, before he could walk, and slowly tipped out a jar of honey so he could delight in watching it gently fold on itself on the floor below. Being an auntie is the best ;)
